Flight Arrivals at West Palm Beach Airport

When you arrive at West Palm Beach International Airport please make sure to collect your luggage from the Baggage Claim area before proceeding to exit the arrivals area.

The airport offers free high-speed wireless internet throughout the entire airport, including the Cell Phone Waiting Lot.

Baggage Carts at Palm Beach Airport

Self-service baggage carts can be rented in the Baggage Claim area on Level One. Return them at dedicated locations on curbside or in parking lots. The rental fee is $6.00, which will be partially refunded upon return of the rented unit.

Transfers from Palm Beach Airport

Rental Cars – Palm Beach Airport rental car companies have desks located on Level One, Baggage Claim level, of the airport. Shuttles will transfer customers to the parking lot and their rented vehicle.

Public Buses – Palm Tran bus route 44 stops at the outer curbside on Level One, Baggage Claim level. Tickets are $2.00 and paid in exact change in a farebox when boarding the bus. This bus will connect travelers with West Palm Beach.

Greyhound Buses – The nearest Greyhound stop is located at the Intermodal Transit Center in West Palm Beach. Palm Tran route 44 runs between the airport and the Intermodal Transit Center.

Hotel Courtesy Shuttles – Some hotels offer shuttle services between Palm Beach airport and the hotel. These shuttles can be found on the outer curbside on Level One, Baggage Claim area.

Taxis – The taxi rank is found on Level One, Baggage Claim level, of the airport, in the Ground Transportation area. Services are available for walk-ups and reservations are not required.

Tri-Rail Trains – Tri-Rail is a rail transport service running between West Palm Beach and Miami with many stops along the way. The Tri-Rail station is located in West Palm Beach and Tri-Rail offers free non-stop shuttle services between the airport and the train station. The shuttle stop is located in the Ground Transportation area on Level One, Baggage Claim level, and it is easy to follow the signs there.

Amtrak Trains – Amtrak provides rail transportation services throughout the country. The Amtrak station is located in West Palm Beach at the Intermodal Transit Center and Amtrak offers shuttle services between the station and the airport. Palm Tran route 44 also runs between the station and the airport.

There are white telephones located throughout the terminal building as well as the parking garages that connect the caller with the airport’s communication center.

Information Center at Palm Beach Airport

The Information Center will help with a wide range of information on activities, arts, culture and events happening throughout Palm Beach County. It is located on Level One at the Baggage Claim area.

Public Telephones at Palm Beach Airport

Passengers may make free local calls and toll-free phone calls from the public telephones available on each level of the terminal, as well as in Concourses B and C.

Pet Relief Areas at Palm Beach Airport

Pet relief areas that are fenced, shaded and provided with a nice wood chip and grassy area are located outdoors on both the east and the west ends of the terminal on Level One, Baggage Claim level where travelling pets can run and find relief before or after their flight. Complimentary waste bags are provided. There are also two indoor pet relief areas found post-security in Concourses B and C for departing pets.

Lost and Found at Palm Beach Airport

The Lost and Found office is open between 8.30AM and 4.30PM Monday-Friday and it is located in the Main Terminal on Level 2.

Opening hours at Palm Beach Airport

The airport is closed for cleaning and sanitizing 11.00PM and 3.30AM. During this time the airport offers complimentary short term parking to greeters and asks them to meet the traveler curbside.

Cell Phone Waiting Area at Palm Beach Airport

For greeters waiting for a traveler to arrive and be ready for pick-up there is a Cell Phone Waiting Area located at the PBI Travel Plaza, in the southwest corner of Belvedere and Florida Mango on 2050 Belvedere Road. The PBI Travel Plaza features free WiFi, electric vehicle charging stations, car wash, Mobil Gas, Dunkin’ Donuts and a 7-11 store with flight information inside.
